آرزو ع دل

آفتاب کی طرح نور تیرے چہرے پہ جھلکتہ ہے

‏منتز میرا دل تیرے سامنے اذترار ہو جاتا ہے

‏خوابیدہ رات کا تو وہ آبشار ہے، جسکو کبھی روکا نہیں جاسکتا

‏عنایت سہر کی تو وہ شبنم ہے، جو ہر چیز کو آفرین کردیتی ہے

‏جہاں دیکھوں وہاں تو ہی تو نظر آتا ہے

‏اب کیا کروں دل کا جو معاملہ ہے

Translation

When your face lights up like the sun,

My expectant heart becomes restless in front of you.

You are that waterfall of the dreamy night,

Which can never be stopped.

You are that dew of the graceful morning,

Which makes everything beautiful.

Wherever I look, I see you

What shall I do, it’s the tragedy of my heart.
