Zero Expectations

I don't expect others to be nice.

I don't expect disappearance of a vice.

I don't expect the darkness to scatter.

My connection with the Supreme is all that matter

I don't expect name, fame. They are temporary.

Yes I'm weird, far from contemporary.

I don't expect love, though my love is for the soul.

Zero expectation policy is my flagpole

But I'm a free bird, free of all constrains.

I'm a free bird because I don't expect.
