Your Love

Your love has filled me in

With a rush of adrenaline

Where I can't say

If it's a fall or a flight

I have just been in the air

Wide awake all night.

It's closer than touch

Digging in, like holes in a boat

A steel knife to the naked skin

At the base of my throat.
