Your Eyes

Your eyes are stars from the heavens,

That shine their light upon me.

Their light that allows me to see,

All the beauties of the Earth.

But all the beauties of the Earth,

Can never amount, to the beauty before me.

So, take this which is mine,

My own heart for you.

And keep this love that burns,

Deep within my soul.

For it is an eternal flame,

 That neither rain,

Nor lack of fuel can quench.

For rain from the heavens make it grow,

And the fuel is one of Cupid’s arrows.

That flew steady and true.

And set to flame,

Brilliant light, that is reflected in your eyes.
