I still remember that time

when i walked down the aisle

You asked for my hand

and Promised to be my man

Didn't even notice the signs

Trusted you, I was blind

I got drunk in your love

Though it was poison all the time

Remember when you said that

I was the perfect bride

Now I've come to realize

That you were comparing me

From all your other wives

You held me in your arms

Made false promises for life

I believed everything you said

Not knowing you just lied

It's been 6 months

But my skin can still feel your touch

Those soft hands ,rubbing my cheek

That touch of your feet

Your hand on my waist and eyes locked in mine

Dancing in your arms in the refrigerator light

I never thought this was a fight

Deep inside I miss you a lot

But what you did can never cope

Now i just dream of a life

In which im still alive

You didn't betray me

And im still your bride
