You Write

By Dr. Ayesha Noorain A

Write, for your thoughts know no bounds.

Write, for your words are free from dependency and external sounds.

Write, that the world may follow your lead —

let your words lend voice to the voiceless indeed.

Write in a way that every moment holds a story,

as if every story bears your name.

Write, that your words may turn a gloomy face to bloom again,

that a defeated man may choose life again.

Write, that your hands may bear witness one day,

to your words being a reflection of your heart’s way.
