You Still Have Time
By Aastha Gupta
Ever wondered how the moon glows, even in the darkest of nights?
The reason is simple-
the moon never questions its purpose.
It knows it must glow,
every night, without fail-
and it does.
The moon moves through eight distinct phases,
shifting shapes in the sky.
But no matter what it looks like-
in never loses its name-
it is still the moon-
bright,
shiny,
and even flawed.
There are nights when it disappears entirely,
leaving the sky- a black canvas scattered with silent dust.
Even then,
the moon embraces emptiness,
knowing it's only a phase-
a step towards becoming full again.
So, think of yourself as the moon.
Some days will feel hollow.
Some nights may hide your light.
But the world is still here-
waiting, watching,
hoping you remember:
you still have time.
Use that time.
And shine-
with all the glow that's been waiting inside you.
