You Have To Go On

Life is hard

but somehow,

you have to go on.

When troubles plague you,

Don your armor,

Take up the shield,

Wield the sword,

And battle your way through.

When a bed of thorns

lies before you,

Thicken the sole of your shoes

Wrap cushions

around your limbs,

And tread your way through.

When the road of uncertainty

intimidates you,

Clothe yourself in perseverance,

Arm yourself with a compass

alongside a map,

And navigate your way through.

Life is hard

but somehow,

you still have to go on.
