You Ask Me

What do you think is worse?

Falling in love too deep or walking away before its too late even though you do not want to?

I would say it was realizing I had fallen too deep

I would say it was accepting I had fallen too deep

To realize that I was drowning

To realize that a part of me did not know how to float or maybe did not even want to

But I swam to the shore

What was the most difficult part?

It was to rise again that required the most strength

To stand up again only to fall again was what I feared the most

The possibility of drowning because I fell too deep again was what I feared the most

Falling was easy, effortless, and uncontrollable even when I knew it could end with me drowning

But still having to stand up each time only to eventually fall was what was most difficult.

As in the end I would rather fall too deep than swim in the shallow end.
