You Are Still Here

Years have passed by ,

I am loath to leave you

You still here .

Whenever I open my window 

To my secret mind

I see you in it always.

Is it you really?

Or someone I expect you to be ?

My mind is perplexed.

How do  I find clarity ?

How will I ever know until I’m with you ?

That won’t happen right ?

Maybe I will live in reverie of thoughts,

“if you had been mine. “
