You are loved

Your birth was like an early Christmas gift.

Everyone felt different emotions.

Purity and innocence glowed from your eyes.

Like a July flower, you brought serenity into our hearts.

You are loved

Breaking our jewelry is one innocent mistake.

I adore how you look at me when you see my teeth.

I love how you giggle and laugh solo, but

I hate how some day someone will be responsible for your tears,

You are loved

I wish I had the walls to hide you from the world, but

I’m not a God and I won’t be here forever.

I wish I had the power to protect you from the evil, but

I’m not an angel and I’m more of a sinner than a saint.

Always remember this, you are loved.
