Written by Grace

If I were never meant to write,

Perhaps I’d sing beneath the light;

With every verse and melody

I’d would set imprisoned spirits free.

If I were never meant to write,

Perhaps I’d teach what’s wrong from right;

To shape young minds with patient care,

And leave my wisdom lingering there.

If I were never meant to write,

I’d frame the world in colors bright;

Through every lens my eyes would see,

The hidden wonders meant to be.

If I were never meant to write,

Perhaps I’d act upon the stage,

Bringing stories into the sight,

Breathing life on every page.

If I were never meant to write,

I’d dance until the stars took flight,

Each graceful step, each turning line,

A silent language pure, divine.

If I were never meant to write,

Perhaps I’d lead with truth and light;

Guiding others hand in hand,

To build a kinder, stronger land.

Yet every path returns to me,

The writer I was born to be.

God shaped my soul with pen in hand,

A humble heart, a voice to stand.

His masterpiece - His gift, His art,

He wrote His purpose in my heart.

Wherever life may lead me through,

I’ll write... because that’s what I was born to do.
