Wreckage

Did we grow up or did we grow apart?

Something so close and something so far.

What did we become? Why did we become?

Did we really have to become?

Maybe. Maybe not.

I have lost everything.

Everything I believed in, everything I was once.

I think this is the period to it; I wish it was the colon for it.

Something so close but something so far.

Something so in between.

Something that fell apart.
