Wounds

A wound needs healing

It needs to be cleaned

Dressed and allowed to heal

The wound heals in it’s own time

It cannot be rushed

Forgiveness can be given by the inflicted

But forgetting is another matter

For some wounds take a long time to heal

While others take a shorter time

Some leave scars while others do not

Forgetting is harder

where scars are left

Sometimes the offender cannot even see where the scars are ..
