Worth It

I can't spend my little time Chasing things that aren't mine And I need work and not whine Or I will never shine I need to go one step forward Get out of my safe borders See the world in different colours So I can experience all of life's wonders

Drowning in self pity isn't worth it None of us really deserve it And once you finally reach the surface All of it would have been worth it They say work and determination are the key But that has never been the case for me I need to believe in myself And only then will I succeed Thinking of how harsh life has been Moping in a place where you can't be seen Will only make you bitter and lazy Utter a word, they'll say ur making a scene. Now I've gotten out of it Moved on from something big Got distractions out of my head I finally know how to focus
