Words vs Action

Words vs Action

Words have a lot of powers they say,

I didn't agree with it until I was on the bay -

Of choosing between someone's actions over their words,

Their actions were my armor but their words were the swords

A bunch of jumbled letters,

Held so much pride and prejudice on fellow betters.

That they bet their life,

And turned their oaths into knives.

It doesn't occur to you until you see, sorry, hear it yourself,

Until you feel your glass like heart shatter in itself.

The more closer and the more dearer,

They say it gets more harsh and harder for the bearer.

Do you agree when they say,

That words hold more power than the area between actions and words which is gray.

Can it be me?

Hate seeing him but want a second glance

Oh if I could talk to him, just one chance

It hurts kind of bad, and I know it's lame to say

But when you fall for someone all these thoughts flow away

Figured out many things this still remains a question mark

Will I ever get over him or will it just stay a love arc

As I play a game of hide and seek with pretends,

I feel like I should be there instead of one of his little friends

I hope to find a day and I will,

Where I speak to him as a person and not a glorified Costco bill.

The ice got warmer

A bright sunny day blessed upon earth,

The night before was used for ice to take birth.

The ice decided to stay in its cute little cubicle,

While the sun did its job melting the young kid's popsicle.

But time urged beings in the house to take ice out in the hot summer day,

In a cup, on a table the ice was made to lay.

The ice saw the sun for the first time,

Mesmerized by its presence, the ice decided to commit a crime.

A crime of knowing that looking at the sun would cost it its life,

But not wanting to acknowledge its own internal strife.

Ice knew that even if it melts, it would evaporate to be a cloud,

It would not be confined and could be loud and proud.

Moreover, being a cloud would just take it closer to the sun,

Coming back as rain, but running back to the sun.
