वो दुनिया कितनी खूबसूरत होती

वो दुनिया कितनी खूबसूरत होती,

जहाँ कोई माँ अपनी संतान न खोती,

जहाँ फौज तो होती, पर बेमतलब की जंग न होती।

झूठी कसमें, झूठे वादे न होते,

प्रेम में शिव-गौरी सी पवित्रता होती।

जहाँ कोई रावण अपहरण न करता,

न कोई दुर्योधन चीरहरण सा अपराध करता।

जहाँ हर नारी में सीता और काली दिखती,

जहाँ कोई द्रौपदी लज्जित न होती।

जहाँ मतभेद हो जाएँ, पर मनभेद न होते।

जहाँ रिश्ते कौड़ी के मोल न होते,

जहाँ षड्यंत्र न होते,

न होती ये गंदी राजनीति।

वो दुनिया कितनी खूबसूरत होती,

जहाँ दुनियादारी ही न होती।

मन की बात ज़ुबान पर होती,

जहाँ कोई ग़लतफ़हमी न होती।

जहाँ इंसान की क़ीमत उसके पहनावे से नहीं,

व्यक्तित्व से होती।

वो दुनिया सच में बेहद खूबसूरत होती,

जहाँ लोगों में सच्चाई होती।

जहाँ आँखों में शर्म, रिश्तों की मर्यादा होती,

जहाँ चेहरों पर नक़ाब न होते,

जानवर-सी हैवानियत नहीं, इंसान में इंसानियत होती।

वो दुनिया कितनी खूबसूरत होती,

जहाँ बच्चे-सी मासूमियत होती।

कशमकश

कशमकश है-

क्या करना बेहतर होगा?

कौन-सा चुनाव सही होगा?

बेहतर क्या है, न जानूँ,

हमदर्द कौन, न पहचानूँ।

न भेद पाऊँ भीतरघाती को,

गले मिलकर गला काटे, उस विश्वासघाती को।

बाहर के शोर में मन परेशान है,

कह रहा धीमे से-

शायद तेरा चुनाव ही सही है।

पर डर है,

कहीं खामोशी वहम तो नहीं?

दिल की आवाज़ मेरी ज़िद तो नहीं?

दिल और दिमाग में शुरू है जंग,

किसे सुनूँ, किसे करूँ ख़ामोश,

दोनों आख़िर हैं तो मेरे ही अंग।

दिमाग ने बाहर का शोर चुना,

बंद कानों ने दिल का फ़ैसला सुना।

दिल ने पूछा-

कैसी ये उलझन है?

क्यों मन परेशान है?

क्यों इतना शोर है?

क्यों आत्मविश्वास कमज़ोर है?

ज़िंदगी तेरी है, तो फ़ैसला भी तू ही लेगी।

सही हो या ग़लत, तू ही ज़िम्मेदार होगी।

ग़लत से सबक सीखेगी,

सही से हौसला बढ़ेगा।

न ये उलझन होगी,

न कोई परेशानी होगी।

भरोसा रख-

तेरे फ़ैसलों से बुनी हुई तेरी ज़िंदगी,

बेहद ख़ूबसूरत होगी।
