Wish To Say Goodbye

And as such, he wrote the last Poem

Of his life that is about his other life

See, when he met her for the maiden time

It took him over a whole year to believe his own sight

It could have been the other way around in all the possibility

Yet, he did not break her heart, and kept the promise unto his self

Oh! Stories there are plenty of them, how many more do you wish to bear?

And love is the greatest story ever told, or not?

It takes a hard man to believe that the world is worth fighting for

Her lover grows familiar with the oblivion even before we met

She must’ve wanted to build it all anew through him

Her love is not the fire thatwarms my soul

They’ve heard, oh! Haven’t they, those the ones uncanny

That greedy is to kill the reason for being patient and tolerant

What is mine will come to me like timely justice served

Yet, I cannot stand to submit a request unto her

She was made for my loving or so I thought

Ooh! How the love burns those whom it wishes a cold death

Her body is wine and silk, and her eyes are pure and divine

She is the heart of the core of the Universe

Her love moves the Heaven and the Earth for I

Alas! Time has made other plans for what is to come

Both my scheming and my nihilism failed to convince her to stay

Wish! I was more than a word, ah! Wish that I was dead instead

For, at least in the other realm; I may not be this alone

Lovers seldom had hath to complain against each other unlike her

I am yet to be her chosen; she stayed with her past

Maybe, it is true what they write about companions

Free them and of they return; if, but, she is only mine

Yes, I refuse to share even with the spring and the shade

For, she is to be alongside I; in my desert and equally forlorn

Roses do not wish harm but, the cruel thorns do

Love, perhaps, I was born ill-fortunate; destined to be broken and discarded

What of my tomorrow, my beloved, why do you not feel me anymore?

Why do I have to lose you but, why do I not have to call you mine?

Love is unfair, and now I understand that you were never mine

I was easy to be fooled, and you love to fatally torture

The first I sensed your plan was upon that sinful evening

When you after being kissed halfway to death already; fought thyself

I do contemplate upon the world and my grave

I am not yet the lost one, and I know, not even to you

Tell us, who is your most favorite poet, tell’em what I’ve recited only to you

But, can you even speak for yourself? Does he still raise his hand?

Why would I not’ve killed a man that day in his own moving car?

Does he not know of what is to love? Is he that heartless?

It was supposed to be the two of us, at the end walking into the Sunset

I would’ve been different for you, for the future too

I would’ve been the most faithful man in the whole world and only for you

But, you have left, and that too, all the years before tonight

Stay blessed and be as you are, isn’t that what is supposed to be said?

Break me further; I still feel that I am left, somewhere deep inside I

End my life for me, I beg you; my heart can bear no more…

Engulfed in flames, I’ve embodied the pain that I suffer; alone
