Winter Cherries

You know what

I asked my husband for time

A time to talk

A time to laugh 😂

A time to touch and

For some time to feel loved.

He replied me:

“Times are difficult my love 😍

Times are tensed

Times are pressurizing

How can I give you some time”.

His words took me back

To a time that was

Less pressurizing

Less tensed

And less occupied.

“Well, my love, back then

When we were young and strong

Amidst all the work

Amidst all the drama

Amidst all the restrictions

You had time for me

I had time for you”.

Now,

We are ripe in thought and mind.

Our love is still not drained.

Yet,

the environment has frozen us.

So,

Here we are …
