Winter

I went outside to feel the breeze

The cold air tickling the skin of my face

And slowly down to my feet

I knew it was that time

When the sun competes the wind

Like two shades of the same colour

I knew it was that time

When the land puts on

A blanket of warm snow

I knew it was that time

When I will be treated with

Hot chocolate and admire the weather

I knew it was that time,

The time of winter
