Winner ?

Why do you call me a winner ?

I am a mere loser

Winner takes it all?

But I never had any call

To cheer my victory,

Only my shadow slippery

No one to pay shoulder

Remove the boulder.

Maybe if I was loved enough..

I would never be low,

All this ranks a mockery

To my empty heart , a flattery.

I never won hearts,

Only paper cards

Don’t call me winner or loser

A shame to title, I fear..

Maybe losing everything was

My first step to success

Or last step to my end …
