Window

When I was a child,

a wooden window was mine.

The view from the lattice was undefined;

A magical green carpet, a beautiful meadow,

many glorious sights observed from that window.

That was the unique architecture

which was connected me towards nature.

After looking out from that square frame,

I noticed hundreds of creations.

My friends were of several types;

tiny, bright, and some were tall in height.

They had sweet redolence, colourful arms,

different feathers and huge green life.

Branches were the playground of many,

but naughtiest was the strip grey lady.

I loved to listen to the music of Aves

those helped me to feel okay.

I usually sat at its corner

to take in the cold breeze.

Many beings were growing in front of eyes;

even that yellow queen of the beehive.

Nothing gets left in the middle,

If the clock had stopped moving its needle.

One finger's click;

and everything changed.

I knocked on the new door,

found a new window at home.

At first sight, the truth I realised

"I lost my old friends forever."
