Willing to Become a Child Again

Willing to again hear the fairy tales of Grandma,

Willing yet again to be a part of that absolute fiesta.

Willing again to step into a world free from anxiety,

Willing again to live a life which is perky.

Willing again to make mistakes and learn,

Because childhood was just great fun.

Willing again to sleep on the lap of my mother,

Willing again to hold my father’s finger when we both

go together.

Willing again to gather the toys and play,

Willing again to make a paper boat on a rainy day.

Willing again to cry for those little things,

Willing again to rush home as soon as the last school

bell rings.

Striving again to relive those beautiful days,

But you have already got a chance; is what God says.
