Will You?

Updated: Jul 18, 2025

By Richa Sharma

You are the voice that guides me,

The hope on which I thrive.

You say I am the love of your life,

The very instinct, the heart's rhyme.

The passion burning through your veins,

I am the pleasure and the pain,

The love that's insane.

And when the dark surrounds you from all sides,

I am the one who brings you back to life.

I was there when you fell,

And I’ll be there when you fall .

I want to be,

Not just a hand on your shoulder—

I want to be your’s as all.

So, my dear,

The direction of my life,

Will you be my present, my future,

The person taking vows on the altar by my side?

Dear girl of mine,

Will you be my wife?
