Wild Woman

I’m meeting the wild woman in me

One so paramount and olden

Galloping on a unicorn across the ocean

A vast land behind her to rule

Her territory free of cruel

With a backward glance she smiled

Hiding nature bountiful and wild

And I set out on a chase

To incorporate her essence and grace

An all-knowing force to reckon

Secrets so dark no light can beckon

Nothing as I know seems to be

Yet nothing obtrusive, out of place

She sets my soul fire ablaze

Certain I’m meeting her for the first time

It feels I never left her light
