I hid away from the city lights.
Miles away from those thousand sights,
which hate, expect, and those ticks of my care,
and those who, at me, merely glare.
In the caves so ancient and wild,
the darkness fed me as a child.
My blood turned dark unallowing bargain
of my love, achievements, or dreams again.
But once some clouds flooded my cave.
I had to travel to my city grave.
But some of it was devastated already,
and don't know why seeing it cried out my heart shady,
as the place seemed so true
as if that was where my real ones brew.
In those lawns they gifted love to me,
and, oh! That familiar cheery swing I see!
Some patient eyes had that place stranded,
as I in the dark cave remained.
And all I do now is remorse,
for the pain to my loved ones I caused.
