Why Can't We?

Why can’t we be like babies,

Who don’t really often cry?

In every situation always,

They have a smile up high.

Why can’t we be like babies,

Free from the laws of the world?

Discrimination on the basis of gender,

If a child is a boy or girl.

Why can’t we be like babies,

Don’t really know what’s going on?

Who don’t know how to talk,

Don’t even know why they were born.

Why can’t we be like babies,

Doing whatever we want?

Don’t care about what people think,

Don’t care about their taunt.

Why can’t we all be happy?

Be tolerant towards each other,

Do what we want to do,

Why should anyone bother?
