Who Can Be A Hero?

By Viral Murudkar

Can it be the sweeper who cleans the streets for you

Or the maid who takes care of you

Can it be the nurse who nurses your wounds

Or the chef who cooks your food

Can it be the cleaner who cleans your house

Or the tailor who makes your blouse

Can it be the teacher who teaches you your basics

Or the friends who leave on you their traces

Can it be the people who learn to defend themselves

Or the carpenter who makes your shelves

Can it be the soldier who fights selflessly

Or the mother who waits for him hopelessly

Can it be the child who brings joy in our lives

Or the doctor who saves millions of lives

I believe that there is a hero in you and me

We just have to be patient enough to see
