Whispers of Time

(Inspired by Enya's "Only Time")

Who can know where the road may bend,

Where morning dreams and shadows blend?

Each step we take, a silent chime,

Wrapped in the breath, of fleeting time.

The stars may guide, or winds may sway,

But time alone will show the way.

It watches love, it mends the pain,

It dances in both loss and gain.

A question floats upon the breeze;

Will hearts endure or fall to knees?

No voice replies, no clear design

The answer sleeps in the hands of time.

So let the world, in stillness lie,

Let laughter echo, teardrops dry.

For every soul, for every climb,

The truth is held by only time.
