Whispers of the Skyline

I wanna say it to you,

describe it to you,

show it to you

how the sun melts perfectly,

merges perfectly,

vanishes perfectly

into the skyline

engulfing everything evil

every pains, hurts, sorrows

partings and reunitings

they all meet

in the skyline

but you will never listen,

and you will never see,

you can never know

how the sun reflects this beautiful shade of yellow

sunflower petal of your eye

the shadow of the trees of life

I imagine you playing with the pretty flowers above,

chasing and chirping to the songbirds,

and catching butterflies

on the field of yellow and blue

in Neverland,

where you will never grow again

There is so much I wanna tell you,

wild one,

but you never listen

There is so much I wanna show you,

but this time around your strange, bright eyes are closed shut

and you are going to sleep here until the end of each dawn

Sleeping hollow

your body of a white hill,

snow mountain

covered with dark brown moss

Ah, your soft white hands

beads of peachy pink for your warm, tiny paws,

you bury the rest of your furry face in your even furrier arm

and you stare blankly at me with your big, round eyes

your pupils small and sharp like needles

and you look at me as if

you were trying to tell me

but I cannot read your lips

so we sit in silence

and quietly

you stand up and walk away

looking back one last time

with your bright eyes,

longing,

your tail risen and high

as I make it out

what you are trying to say to me

“Goodbye”

and then you start walking again

this time without ever looking back

or even stopping

but time stopped as your little heart stood still

and my heart dropped proving the existence of gravity and painful reality

your pupils widened

your sky once starry,

now black and still

and the sun froze and everything went cold

but I will always remember your eyes,

light mustard yellow,

baby blue,

white hill

covered in snow and mosses

and you are catching butterflies
