Karma

There was once,

Under a bright winter moonlight,

You came into my dreams while I was half asleep.

Disguised as a dream catcher, you clung onto the walls of my head with your thorny limbs

Like a little spider weaving a web

Settling, making a home, making a nest

And you, dear one,

You refused to leave

So there winter came bearing flowers from the white, snowy mountains, bluebells, dark hazels and rustic baskets of kisses

And then left with my solitude

And you were still there like a damned ivy

Squatting in the darkness of the corner of the room

Refusing to lift and shift the weight of yourself

Refusing to leave

Nights fall, days go by and countless sunrises,

In the nest of the tree next to my window

Eggs hatch and little birds with stripes on their tiny heads leave their mother to seek for their own adventures

I was supposed to grow up and grow old

Yet you remain in here

You remain motionless

You remain in silenced solitude

You remain to be a central piece of my heart

Stubbornly,

You remain still
