Whispers of The Fading Day

Dec 4, 2025
1 min read

By Olivia Merrie Roldant

In twilight’s tender, fleeting hue

Where shades wane and hopes renew

The world exhales a whispered sigh,

As moments drift and hours fly.

Each day, a leaf in autumn’s hand

Turns gold, then falls to shift the land

Yet in its fall, there lies a seed,

For what is lost shall plant new need.

The echoes of the day’s descent

Are dreams that are spent during the night,

And in the dark, a spark ignites

To herald dawn’s renewing light.

Let the fleeting moments pass,

Like shifting sands in furnished glass,

For every end, a new path may show

In every sunset, dawn will grow.
