Whispered Spell of Grace and Union

By Julie Makhoul

From the hush between heartbeat and breath,

I call forth love not born of earth,

But woven in silver threads of starlight-

A love that neither fades nor fractures.

By rose and moon, by mirrored sea,

I bind your spirits in gentle grace,

You horned guardians of myth and mystery,

Whose eyes hold skies no mortal sees.

Winged one of wind and fire,

Silent one of depth and stone-

Together you dance, in paths unknown,

In cadence only soulmates hear.

I anoint your bond with scent of bloom,

One rose tucked in my hair for you-

A sign that even silence sings,

And stillness can hold sacred truth.

Let no shadow break your stride,

Nor thorns undo what light has spun.

You are love in motion, untamed and whole-

A prayer made flesh under the moon.

So go, beloved ones, in bloom and flight,

Blessed by she who watches unseen,

Your union carried on winds of night,

As a spell cast gently from in-between.
