Whisper of The Clouds

Floating clouds in the sky

Reciting plenty that they have seen

Even the ones they passed by,

which slowly disappeared and became one with the wind

While whispering their last wish with me.

I couldn't hear them properly

Clouds inside were thundering more loudly,

I used to watch them as a child

All day long, even after they were gone.

Like the airplane that passed by

And the stones that I used to throw

With all my might but slow

So it wouldn't hit.

Even then I felt that I knew

The clouds, planes and the winds more.

Than the people whom I met every day

Their Eyes, head-nods and Goodbyes

Seem so far to me

In all the flights, that I never board.

It feels like life's just a passing dream

On a stranded ship with bread, fake theme and requiem.

The waves are guiding the way without a hand to hold

To help me to see the horizon, the warmth, the cold.

But it's fine, why bother now,

When it never worked before

Even the mast is broken now far far from the shore.

The end is knocking on the door

I heard the knock but then it was silence,

Death has no language or shape

So neither I can argue nor deceive

In the end, it's just clouds, planes and the wind.
