Which Road Shall I Take

Two roads stood, dividing my path

One of light, and one of dark

I thought where they lead, for my own sake

The question still remains, which road shall I take?

The dark one led to a path, nevermore

Filled with darkness, lies and endless gore.

While the one of light, stood proud and bright

Blessing its wielders with goodness and might.

Every moment spent on the choice I could make,

Made it clearer and clearer, which road I should take

But then came a third road, Hidden in plain sight.

A road of grey,

Fusion of light and dark, wrong and right,

No,

It's a tapestry, with its wrap and weft

Covering all the shades dark and bright.

For nothing could be truly white,

Dark,

Or grey.

But all this just made me say

'Which road should I really take?'
