Where Silence Folds

By Sobia Rashid

I wait for our love to breathe its dawn,

As dusk exhales across the trembling sky.

Clouds drift, whispering through the air;

Your love arises, unfaltering and clear.

Faith rises where time folds into silence;

In depths unanchored, we carve our home.

My pulse learns your rhythm -

The cosmos beneath my feet belongs to you.

I weather the gyres of longing,

For your calm -  my sheltered space.

Your touch, like dawn on leaves so bright;

Your love –  the breath that threads my days.
