Where My Dreams Convene

In the quiet corners of my heart,
Their laughter a melody, a work of art.
Her heart knows every beat of mine,
His sportive winks make my days shine.
Their experiences, woven with threads unseen,
Create a tapestry where my dreams convene.
Ma is love, understanding, and silent care,
Sacrifices her quiet branding, an endless affair.
Technology eludes her, a puzzle unsolved,
While her bindi wanders, its place unresolved.
Ma is crafty taunts and relentless worry,
Once she starts ranting, it’s an inexhaustible flurry.
Those occasional cakes she bakes, divinity on a plate,
In her warm embrace, all my worries palliate.
Papa is support, belief, and unwavering trust;
In his presence, I find a compass just.
His faith in me, a boundless sea,
Reflecting the strength he instilled in me.
Papa is secret smiles and unrestrained laughter,
His culinary finesse famous, his dishes highly sought-after.
True partners-in-crime, a covert father-daughter code,
Our jokes and laughs that put all worries on hold.
Thankful for the warmth that walked me through every cold mile,
Here I stand, grateful for Papa’s steadfast eyes and Ma’s tired smile.
For every tear shed, every silent prayer,
Their unwavering love was always there.
Their presence, a shelter, firm and kind;
In their relentless trust, my story I find.
