When the rain begins to fall

TE Katushabe

When the rain begins to fall,

the world forgets itsneed to speak.

Each drop becomes a whispered hymn

for my weary soul to seek.

The clouds do not conceal Your glory.

They frame it for our human eyes.

For even storms bow low before the One

whose majesty reigns above the skies.

So I lift my eyes beyond the weather,

my heart seeking truth, though I am flawed.

Echoing the words of every drop of rain

That Christ is Lord.

Christ is King.

And Jesus is God.
