When Question Mark Meets Full Stop

By Ragi Mishra

Question mark:

I ask the universe, with searching eyes.

Why do we hurt? Why do we cry?

I echo what ifs late at night,

Hoping my steps will ever be right.

Full stop:

You wander so far, my restless friend,

Chasing answers that never end.

Some truths glow when you let go...

Breathe, not everything you need to know.

Question mark:

The future feels cold, the past feels old,

Both whisper truths I never told.

Will I succeed? Will I belong?

Or have I been dreaming all along?

Full stop:

You are not wrong for chasing light,

Even if it hides from sight.

You’re not behind, you’re not too late,

Each breath you take rewrites your fate.
