When I do disappear

Oh to be able to disappear, just like that one wheeze of wind, like that one high wave that we notice enough to know that the next one won’t be same, or maybe like that one flicker of hope, that one glimpse that is soon crowded by the darkness of helplessness that swallows you whole. Oh to disappear like that one thought of someone looking for me when I do disappear….
