What’s The Point?

What's the point?

Of expecting.

when you will be let down,

Of being happy.

when you know it's momentary?

Of investing,

because time and feelings are exhausting,

Of dreaming.

when you are broke,

Of judging.

when you are morally corrupt,

Of smiling,

when crying is comfort,

Of loving.

when it's not reciprocated,

Of time,

when it's misdirected,

Of having a heart,

when you are dead inside,

Of living,

when ending it is all you think of,

What's the point, really?
