What is the meaning of Life?

Where do you think the meaning of life sits on the Inexplicable Shelf?

Would it lay between the ‘Inevitable Downfall’ and ‘Characterized Fate’ section?

These are the questions that lead to the misconception of the hyperreflective collection,

Which forces the crevice of meaning to intertwine with Delph.

In reality the shelf seems small;

Yet, the content can create a wall,

With the contemplation of free will,

The writings of Aristotle and Sartre can kill.

Existentialism endures,

It makes us choose our purpose,

Nihilism deters,

We become a meaningless carcass,

Absurdism rebels,

Acceptance is a reason to live,

Stoicism perseveres,

Patience is required to survive.

But through all these philosophies, the meaning of life is answered,

According to religious tendencies,

And these eventually become dependencies,

That many use to stay anchored.

There are other ideas of meaning,

Such as those that involve dreaming,

Or some that involve death,

That meaning will make you lose your breath.

At the end of it all,

There’s those simple meanings,

The ones that have you chasing waterfalls,

Excitement races through until you’re beaming.

It’s those happy secrets held in your heart,

They shiver and squirm in your mind,

And if you ignore them, you feel confined,

But without them you’ll fall apart.

Unfortunately, we’ll never know the true meaning of life,

Or where it sits and resides,

It’s for you to decide your meaning,

Uninfluenced by alien scheming.
