What If!

You say the angels guide us,

What if, I want to escape all the calming wings!

You say stars shine the brightest in dark,

What if, I am a dead shooting star falling to the ground!

You say seasons change & flowers bloom,

What if, I am that fallen petal, the flower blooms without!

You say happiness comes from within,

What if, all I hear is the echo is void noises!

You say the Supreme is writing our stories,

What if, I want to disappear from all his words; past, present and future, as if it was never meant!

You say to dust off your negative attitude,

What if, I am silently crying over the causes in the night!

You say to live in the light and smile bright,

What if, I practiced it hard, but harder it requires to perfect the act!

You say to trust your wings in a stormy chaos,

What if, the wind mocked it as a dethroned crown and me a clown!

You say to build the castle once again,

What if, the foundation crumpled ages ago to never regain its place!

You say to lose yourself in love,

What if, they see all over my body but my eyes, to be all over but my soul!

You say to rely on the universe for magical interventions,

What if, the fantasy ends here with no ever after's!

You say life is a beautiful journey to live beautifully,

What if, I am that ugly creature the world is beautiful without!
