What Happened?

Mourning over the dry dead land

Not feeling the sweet midnight breeze

Is this some kind of dark disease?

Looking at the motionless Dead Sea

Witnessing the vivid sky trembling

Why are all the flowers crumbling?

Hearing the silent pleads of the trees

The wilting sadness of the leaves that remain

Can someone please explain?

Observing the greenery ignite

Feeling the dryness of the air

This place was a paradise, I swear!
