What do I say,
If I ever may…
I keep thinking, will my chance , be there too long to stay.. ..
What do I say?
What will I say, if they actually ask,
I keep telling myself,” Is it such a big task?”
They keep yelling, “You are not capable”,
I keep smiling, inside I feel terrible.
What a society it would be, if only pants think?
Did God give this art to only “BLUE”, but why not “PINK”?
I listen to screams like “We all are equal”
But they believe, what I say is all immaterial.
“YOU won’t be able to do it”,
don’t even think, it’s an offence,
He says, “I trust you, but you never make a sense”.
Sometimes, my ears tell me, we are tired
“Why don’t you say something, please!! we aspire”
But after a long pause,
What do I say, is the next thought!
A new career option taking me to a height
“What about kids at home? Do your senses lack sight?”
Women and career, meanings don’t rhyme,
“Taking risks out there, why don’t you get back in time?”
Don’t be late it’s unsafe outside,
“I, might not be with you, sit back, my bride”.
I have reached here with my caliber, so why not far?
“That was just by chance, luck favored your power”.
“No, I did it, my hard work, why don’t you see?”
“I can do much more, just let me be free.”
I will still be there, to take care of all
let me fly, learn , rise, whenever I fall
I promise my success would never make you small.
But, When there’s no reply, I give up to my responsibilities,
Staying happy for all, my smiles, are no difficulties.
They ask me, “Why don’t you join the conversations”
I gather the courage, But does someone actually need my solutions?
Then, “Why should I say?” “What should I say?”
Again I think….. “What do I say?”
If I ever may, If I ever may.
