What Did You Fall Into?
By Tamanna
"You're the product of two people who fell in love."
What if say, I'm not,
I'm the product of the extremes in a relationship,
Two people, who made up a million lies to end up together;
vicing families, bending and aligning their times;
Two people, that were both the masterminds.
Two people that hated the guts, the flowers and jewelleries the marriage brought,
yet loved so, to a point, dedicated to moving cities for one another.
Two people that would save up all their money in a foreign city to have a day out of walks to the
museum and ice creams after, to get to know each other,
but dinner with together wouldn't go past the liver without a hint of disgust.
Two people who respect each other, so much that the other would ditch all bad habits, but was it
enough? when it used to come down to the envy envisage?
Two people, who fell irrevocably in Alliance;
Each one promised to always finish stirring the curry and putting in the rest of the spices if the other
had to run to take the kid to school gate;
yet the much perchance contradictory to throw plates and chairs in each other's damn name.
Like two children on a seesaw, one went up the other couldn't patiently wait to. Two different
extremes, so much love diluted within hating the guts,
and thus, my intimidating eyes.
