What a weird piece of art is a human heart,

Still beats when it’s broke, it bleeds yet it hopes.

It’s caged yet its free, in rage but it weeps.

In crowds yet lonely, but with certain someone, it leaps.

What a weird piece of art is a human heart,

It slows when it’s sad, sometimes it runs too fast.

Yet it stays in one place, it’s never detached.

In places, wide spaces, under skies in daylight.

Loves in every weather, knows no hate,

Believes in efforts yet also in fate.
