We're Both Blind, My Love!

Nature's an intriguing thing, isn't it?

beautiful, yet ugly;

delicate, yet coarse;

bucolic, yet citified.

I hope I remind him of it.

i want to remind him of the the river

once drought,

now overflowing with clear water.

i want to remind him

of the crushed ice clouds

painting the sky a beautiful shade.

i want to remind him of the cliffs,

wet and slippery;

harbouring life through stone.

the sun refracts off the dew

and enters my eyes,

blinding me even more than

I already am.

he once said that my beauty

blinded him...

i wonder if he knows

he's already blind

to be loving someone like me.

That works, doesn't it?

two blinds

in love

with nature,

with each other.
