Original Submission by Melissa Farrell

We breathe the same air; we bleed the same blood.

We were all created by the Universe

To be unique; like no other.

Yet, more alike, we could not be.

We breathe the same air,

We bleed the same blood,

We walk the same streets.

The Universe created us all;

To live a life of progress

And to prosper.

But the responsibility remains ours,

The determination remains with us,

The mindset is where it all begins.

Having money does not make you rich,

Having an education does not make you superior,

Having love doesn’t necessarily make you happy.

We have to believe in our dreams,

We have to fight our worst fears,

We have to learn to work with whatever we have.

The Universe is backing us,

And wants nothing more than for us to succeed.

The Universe holds a space for each of us.

It is up to us to hold space for our dreams,

It is up to us to make the effort and try,

It is up to us to metamorphosize….

We were all created by the Universe

To be unique; like no other.

Yet, more alike, we could not be.

We breathe the same air,

We bleed the same blood,

We walk the same streets.
