In silence, I wept, while their voices raged,

Dwindling hope; its sweet chirp left…

In silence, I prayed, for my innocence not to be swayed,

Engulfing despair; seduced by its snake-like whisper…


In silence I stare, at the infinite darkness and definite end,

Obstinate will, not moving and standing still…

In silence, I lay, for another chance, before I go down this lane,

Conflicting belief, raising my hands for him to see…
